SLV made over a 100% gain after that post.  The "slope of the sand pile" then became a little too steep.  The naysayers say that the commodities run is over.  I disagree.  The Dow/Gold Ratio indicates that we're in for several more years of precious metal price growth.  I bought some more SLV today on this nice dip.

A Golden Earthquake Dip?

On January 25, I made the pitch for a buy of GLD on the dip at 129/share.  That one worked out really well.  Maybe a buy today on this "earthquake dip" at 136 will be another steal.

Eight weeks ago I made a post regarding the "cup and handle" pattern forming in the Gold ETF (GLD).

Congrats On The Kahunas

Congrats to those who had the kahunas to pick up the gold ETF ("GLD") at $113.  A nice $7 (6%) gain in three weeks.

Gold took a major dive yesterday dropping $20/ounce.  More importantly, the Gold ETF (GLD) broke through the base of the "handle" at $115/share that was presented in my post of June 29.  Chart techies would say that the trend is likely to be down in the short term.  For those with large kahunas, it might be a great buying opportunity!
