A Big Loss For The NFL

I was disappointed to hear yesterday that Tony Dungy decided to retire from NFL coaching. Not just because I'm a Colts fan, but more because he's one of the "good guys". The man has displayed incredible grace through victory, defeat, and the tragic loss of a child. The Minneapolis Star Tribune described him as "uncommon decency". It's rare to see him lose his cool on the sideline. The Colts and the NFL have suffered a great loss. The good news is that he hopes to work with children in some way. In a prior post, I noted his efforts with the All Pro Dad organization. Check it out.

If you haven't read his book, "Quiet Strength", it's a nice read. He has a new book coming out in February, "Uncommon: Finding Your Path To Significance".

Good luck Coach Dungy!
